Carrollton is one of those few towns that have one foot firmly placed in its history and the other firmly stepping towards the future. It was established in the early 1840s and takes pride in all of its history and continues to move into the future. It is also one of the few places that you can find all sorts of parks to suit any tastes. The community appeals to all walks of life, whether you are looking to raise a family or live in a luxurious home or apartment. Aside from a natural park, Carrollton is also home to the Sandy Creek Park which is an amusement park with fun for all ages. There is plenty to do and see as well as places for picnics and swimming should you need a respite from the activity.

Carrollton has everything to offer that a major metropolis does, but in a small town environment. Because Carrollton is constantly encouraging businesses of every type to settle down here, there is a large variety of places of business to shop or dine at. You can have your choice of shopping at small boutiques or chain stores, eating at a restaurant or dining at a small diner. There are even art galleries and museums where you can browse through crafts and historical memorabilia.

Carrollton is quickly becoming the place to be in terms of living and playing. It offers everything to keep its residents well entertained and yet maintains its quaint small town appeal. Residents have a choice in living in either a family atmosphere or luxury living and single-family residences or condominiums. Whatever your taste in home or apartment, you can find it in Carrollton. The history and future are tied neatly together in this town and you can find something to do at either a park, the amusement park or on the streets with any of the businesses that call Carrollton home.
