A Beginner's Guide to English Premier League

The English premier league is the league which is played professionally in England. This Football league is associated with UEFA. The English Premier League which is known as premier league is founded on 20th of January in 1992. The English Premier League is also known as Premiership. This special league is played professionally between the various football clubs. This English Premier League has very much importance in the country. This league is considered as the main competition of England. There are twenty clubs which are in this English Premier League in the season of this year. In the English premier league there are thirty eight matches are played by each team. The English premier league is organized every year which starts in August of every month and goes to the may. This English premier league also acted as the promotional thing of the football. It has promoted the football game very well. The English premier league has become one of the most viewed leagues which have been viewed by the viewers. So the increase in popularity is also increasing the income of the board.

There are two types of competitions played domestically in the English Premier League. The two competitions are played for FA cup and League cup. Among these two cups the FA cup is for women football clubs. The most time champion of this cup is Arsenal club. They have won this cup nine times. These cups are only for the domestic level matches. There is tough competition between the clubs to prove themselves best in the game. Totally there are forty two numbers of clubs which have been participated in the English premier league. But among of these forty two clubs there are only four clubs which have proved themselves champion. The four clubs who have won this championship are Manchester United club which has won the ten titles, Black Burn Rovers club which have won only one title, Arsenal club which has won three titles and the Chelsea club which has won the two titles. So the most leading club is Manchester United club as it has won ten titles. The Manchester United club won its first title in 1992-93 sessions which was the first session of the English Premier League. This club continues its winning spirit in the next season also. In the last year season also the winner of the English Premier League title was Manchester United and the runner up was Chelsea and the second runner up was Arsenal.

The top scorer of the English premier league is Alan Shearer who was striker who belongs to Black Burn Rovers previously and currently with New Castle United. He has stroked two hundred and sixty goals till now. Alan Shearer has been entitled with top most scorer three times. He achieved the ranking of top scorer in his tenth season from his sixteen season played. He has proven himself in English Premier League very early and made a separate position in the English Premier League.
